Endoscopy coming by Thanksgiving!

November 8, 2009:We are so excited to announce that endoscopy will soon be one of the non-invasive technologies available from Animal Emergency Clinic! The machine is set to arrive next week, and we look forward to using it to help diagnose and treat problems such as foreign bodies. Endoscope can also be used to perform biopsies of tissue suspected of being cancerous. Dog swallowed a Super Ball? Cat ate string? Well, with endoscopy, it now becomes possible to remove the object via the pets mouth rather than via an incision into the belly and intestine. Owners and pets alike will reap the benefits of this fantastic techology!
