In October, Animal Emergency Clinic lost a wonderful technician in a tragic accident. Kelley Inman, CVT, 28 years old, was killed when her car rolled over on the highway. Kelley joined AEC in September 2005. She attended the Minnesota School of Business/Globe College for her degree in veterinary technology, and later taught there as well. She also attended St. Mary's University for environmental biology. Within the veterinary field, she had done everything from kennel assistant to certified technician, and daytime practice to emergency practice. Away from work, Kelley enjoyed hockey, softball, reading, gardening, and painting. Family, friends and animals were unquestionably the most important parts of Kelley’s life. She was a unique, vivacious, adventurous, kind, loving person. Kelley wore her heart on her sleeve, and she was always there for every person and every animal. She will be dearly missed all of us, and not least of all by her devoted dog, Sudie, who was with her in the car but suffered no injuries. Kelley also had three kitties: Skeeter, Wheezer & Fritter. Kelley was taken from us far too young, and we will never forget her.
