Michelle, a Certified Veterinary Technician, joined the Animal Emergency Clinic team in 2001. She is a member of VMAT-2, a highly trained team of over 50 veterinary professionals that provide veterinary medical treatment in natural, man-made, or any other type of disasters.
In addition to experience with domestic animals, Michelle has exotics, wildlife, and zoo experience. She also has worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom. She is very interested in wildlife rehabilitation, conservation efforts in Madagascar for lemurs, and in 2006 she passed her AVECCT certification, a nationally-recognized certification in veterinary technician emergency and critical care.
In her spare time away from Animal Emergency Clinic, Michelle enjoys yoga, reading, making jewelry, and dancing. She owns nine pets total: four dogs, four cats, a frog, and fish!
