Animal Emergency Clinic looks for the best of the best when it comes to our technicians. In addition to ensuring that our laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic departments run smoothly, AEC Technicians must also be able to handle emergency surgery as readily as demonstrate the administration of antibiotics to a turtle's owner.
For our technicians, animal care isn't just a job. Our technicians have an active interest in animal welfare outside of working hours as well. They independently pursue ongoing veterinary education, and volunteer for rescue organizations, wildlife rehabilitation organizations, humane societies, and emergency response teams for animals injured by natural disasters.
In addition to having superb skills with animals, each technician receives comprehensive training in client care as well. Technicians often assist the Client Coordinators in explaining health care options to owners, coordinating owner visitation times for hospitalized patients, and ensuring that our clients receive the same stellar care that our patients do.
